Dear Neighbor,

I want to continue my commitment. As a former prosecutor and Deputy District Attorney, I worked to make a difference, to make Southern Nevada a little safer. As the Deputy Secretary of State, we’ve led criminal investigations on senior investment fraud, mortgage related scams, watched out for consumer fraud, securities violations, corporate filing, and to insure the integrity of our elections. Now, I want to use my legal training, courtroom experience, and administrative skills to be your North Las Vegas Justice of the Peace.

That’s why I’m running for North Las Vegas Justice of the Peace, Department 3.

I’ve lived here in Southern Nevada since I was two years old. I was raised to believe in hard work, the importance of honesty, and the necessity of making a contribution to the place you live.

Several years ago when my wife and I began thinking about starting a family, we chose North Las Vegas as the place we wanted to put down roots and make a home. Now, with a son, our home, our community work, and my position as Deputy Secretary of State, we feel a real part of the North Las Vegas community.

I am running because I know I have both the qualifications and experience to be a good judge. I’ve lived here in Southern Nevada since I was two years old. I was raised to believe in hard work, the importance of honesty, and the necessity of making a contribution to the place you live.

I want to be a judge who is involved and working with local leaders, rank and file police, and law enforcement at all levels to help build a safer community for us and our families.

But I also want to be a judge who is involved in the whole community, working with our youngsters and helping them focus on higher, positive goals.

I want my commitment to show in my courtroom and in my activities in the community. I hope that’s the kind of judge you want. I want to earn your vote.
