Dear Neighbor,
As the polls closed on the night of the primary, I was overwhelmed by the support that North Las Vegas gave me. I am honored by the support, nearly double any other candidate (over 40%), of you voted for me. Coming in first in the primary was only possible with the endorsements of all the local law enforcement organizations, the strong support of organized Labor groups, and most importantly, the individuals who have donated their time and money to my campaign. I also want to thank all the people who took the time to talk to me about what we want North Las Vegas to be like in the future when I knocked on their door-these conversations with you, the citizens of North Las Vegas, inspired me to work all the harder in this election.
I want to continue and make good on my commitment. As a former criminal prosecutor and Deputy District Attorney, I worked to make a difference, to try and make Southern Nevada a little safer. As the Deputy Secretary of State, I’ve led criminal investigations on senior investment fraud and mortgage related scams; kept watch for securities fraud and violations, fraudulent corporate filing, and worked to insure the integrity of our elections. Now, I want to use my legal training, courtroom experience, and administrative skills to be your North Las Vegas Justice of the Peace.

That’s why I’m running for North Las Vegas Justice of the Peace, Department 3.
I’ve lived here in Southern Nevada since I was two years old. I was raised to believe in hard work, the importance of honesty, and the necessity of making a contribution to the place you live.
Several years ago when my wife and I began thinking about starting a family, we chose North Las Vegas as the place we wanted to put down roots and make a home. The North Las Vegas community has welcomed my wife, my son, and me - we’ve found somewhere where we want to do all we can to make it a safer, stronger place.
I want to be a judge who is involved in the community and working with local leaders, rank and file police officers, and law enforcement at all levels to help build a safer community for us and our families.
But I also want to be a judge who is involved in the whole community, working with our children and helping them focus on higher, positive goals.
I want my commitment to the values I grew up with to show in my courtroom and in my activities in the community. I hope that’s the kind of judge you want. I want to earn your vote.
Sincerely,
Chris Lee
Candidate for Justice of the Peace
North Las Vegas Township, Department 3
